Vision and Values
Our vision at Langafel
We believe in the potential of every child regardless of background or individual needs as expressed in Luke 15, The Parable of the Lost Sheep. We are committed to providing an emotionally supportive environment, where pupils flourish, growing both spiritually and academically; securing foundations for each child to understand who they are and the unique qualities they bring to the world.
We help our children to understand the vision by sharing the parable of the lost sheep:
Luke 15 -7. The parable of the lost sheep.
“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbours together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”
