Koala - Teacher: Mrs Gaffney

In Koala class, we always strive to do our best. The classroom environment is both inspiring and engaging to allow children the opportunity to explore their surroundings independently. All pupils show support and encourage each other to achieve their full potential in a calm and relaxed setting. We will incorporate our topics through child-initiated play which allows children the opportunity to immerse themselves within their learning. This year our topics will include Bold Women in History, Space, Frozen Planet, Asia, Land Ahoy and the four nations. We hope that children are happy, inquisitive learners throughout their time in Koala class. We are learning to become a team of positive thinkers who support each other in all aspects of school and beyond.
