In Flamingo Class all pupils are encouraged to have high expectations of themselves and recognise the importance of a positive mind set for learning. They continue to build their confidence and independence, laying the foundations to move forward successfully and achieve their potential.
Where possible, links are made between literacy and topic or science to allow pupils to become fully immersed in their learning. Topics include The Vikings and Anglo-Saxons, World War 2, Space and The Mayans with an emphasis put on creative learning that provides memorable opportunities that capture pupil’s imaginations.
We recognise that we all have our different strengths and qualities that make us unique and work to celebrate these and the contributions that everyone can share to enhance our learning experience.
