Teacher: Ms Wyatt

In Otters, we have 9 children accessing the Class, the children range from Year R to Year 2.

We cover two schemes of work-

The engagement Model- which involves 5 areas: Exploration,

Realisation, Anticipation, Persistence and Initiation.

The Sensory Curriculum- which involves: Engagement steps, Group Work, Teaching Tables and

Sensory Learning.

 

As a Class we use Makaton Signing, Sensory Circuits, Beam and Zones of Emotions.

We celebrate our achievements through a Golden Certificate that’s held each Friday in Worship.

We have lots of fun while learning life-skills and participate in a range of daily activities including

Intensive Interaction, Attention Autism, Swing-Room, Fine/Gross Motor Skills and TacPac.
