Langafel has a successful and thriving FOLS (Friends of Langafel School) team that meets regularly to organise fundraising events.

Last year the team arranged and ran:

• Coffee Mornings
• School Summer Fete
• Movie Nights
• Children's Discos
• Christmas Fayre
• Mother’s & Father’s Day Gift Shops

All money that is raised is invested into our children. In the past FOLS have paid for:

• New Library Equipment
• Year 6 Leavers Book
• Interactive screens around the school
• Defibrillator
• Anaphylaxis Kit
• Contributed £5 to each child for school trips
• Interactive workshops such as Silly Science, VR heads, pantomimes and more
• And much more!

Match Funding

Do you work for a company that offers match funding? Please contact us, this can help us raise even more money for our children!

School Lottery

FOLS currently run a school lottery to raise funds that anyone in the school or wider community can take part in. If you wish to join please visit www.yourschoollottery.co.uk and look for Langafel CE Primary School.

Many Hands Make Light Work

All these events take time to arrange and run. If you are able to help, either in the preparation or the running of the event, whether 30minutes or longer, please contact us so that we can add your email address to our volunteer’s database.

If you'd like to join us or just sit in on a meeting, please feel free to come along. New members are always given a very warm welcome. We gladly welcome any help with FOLS fundraising events and if you are able to donate your time, items for sale or raffle prizes, or if you are willing to offer your services and skills, this would be very much appreciated.
