Fantastic Fossils!

Today we became Paleontologists.

This term we have continued the interesting topic of DINOSAURS!

This week we've been looking at the history of Dinosaurs and how we know they existed. We learnt that the earliest fossils were only found 200 years ago in the 1800's and since then a lot  of research has been collected by Paleontologists. Through fossils we have been able to find out about different types of dinosaurs, how they looked, travelled and even what they ate.

The children thoroughly enjoyed becoming Paleontologists for the afternoon and excavated some fossils of their own.
