Appealing a Decision
If you applied to move your child to a different school but were not offered a place you have the right to make an appeal.
For community or voluntary controlled schools write to
The Appeals Administrator, Democratic Services, Sessions House, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XQ.
For foundation schools, voluntary aided schools, free schools and academies write to the clerk of governors at the school.
For community schools and voluntary controlled schools:

Email details to appeals@kent.gov.uk including your child's name, address, date of birth, the name of the school you are appealing for along with reasons for wanting a place at the school.
Call 03000 41 42 22 or email appeals@kent.gov.uk for further advice.
Appeal hearing
The appeal hearing will take place within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged. We'll send you the details and a copy of the school's case at least 10 school days before the hearing. If you want to send us any additional evidence you must make sure that we get it at least 5 school days before the hearing date.
