For the academic year 2024-2025 we received a total of £18,868 PE Premium Funding. The money has been used to help increase opportunities for participation in sport, increase our OPAL play offer for all and improve the children’s health and academic achievement. We were able to use the pool and all children in years 2-6 had a swimming session allocated weekly, with children from all areas of SLIC also benefitting. This year we have made further developments on our exciting OPAL journey, which has seen the playgrounds transformed over the last 12 months with many zones to enrich and develop play. We have added a water play area, wheeled toys, music zone and dance zone, all of which contributed to us earning the Platinum OPAL award. Langafel were also proud to be awarded the Silver School Games Mark. This year the PE Premium report was completed online. Please see below for the breakdown of the different reported categories.
