Emily's Great Langafel Bake Off

for Guys & St Thomas' Hospital

As some of you know I had an operation to remove skin cancer last April.  I was treated by the amazing surgeons, doctor, nurses and staff at Guys Cancer Centre in London. I really want to give back to them and support them in any way possible.

Emily Sawyer

As May, is skin cancer awareness month Langafel staff have have taken part in Emily's, The Great Langafel Bake Off to help raise vital funds and awareness for Guys and St Thomas' cancer charity.

The most important part of this month is getting checked if you have an abnormality on your skin.

Due to the restrictions imposed with Covid-19 we were not able to include the children this time but as this is such a worthwhile cause we thought we'd share the link for our fund raising page so that if you choose you may contribute.

ALL MONEY will go straight to Guys Cancer Centre in London.

Feel free to raise a cuppa and cupcake with us over the weekend.

Thank you

Florence's Faith Fighters for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity

On Saturday 23rd May Florence, Evie, Bethany and Grace will be marching at home for The Royal Marsden

Your donations will help to build the Oak Cancer Centre. This brand-new facility, due to open in Sutton by the end of 2022, will speed up the development of life-saving treatments and ensure we can be there for everyone who needs us. With your support we can make it a reality.

Little Princess Trust

The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.

Not only did our lovely Isla Cleaver donate her hair but she has so far raised £130 for the charity.
