Parent support letter – Home Learning

An email has been sent out to all parents where possible giving links to school work for weeks 3 and 4 of Term 5. Paper packs can also be made available on request and collected from the school office by prior agreement. If you have any queries, please contact your child’s teacher in the first instance.

Yearbook  – Year 6

Please check your mailbox (and Spam folder) for your child’s individual login details which have been emailed out. Kindly note that the deadline for your child to write their entry is Friday 3rd July 2020, enabling us to proof-read and edit the final piece of writing  before sending it to the publisher.

The phase is made up of three mixed year 5 and 6 classes. They are taught in mixed ability year group classes for Maths and in mixed year group classes for all other subjects

Assessment Information:

Click here to access our assessment criteria.  These are the aspects of learning that will be covered this year.  Please use them to both track and support your child’s learning.

General Information:

Children are given Maths and English homework on a Friday, which is to be completed and returned by Wednesday the following week. Pupils are also expected to read at least three times a week, preferably to an adult, and note it down in their reading record.

PE kits are to be kept in school, in a named bag.

Swimming has now finished until after Easter 2020.
